FULLY RESTORED 1941 WW2 T.G.Co. MkIII ENGLISH MILITARY LIQUID PRISMATIC COMPASS

Fully restored in museum cosmetic condition and in full working condition.

This compass is robust (it was made for war) and can be used as an every day carry compass, but would probably be acquired by a discerning collector.

The compass has been fully serviced and restored using modern Tritium lamps where possible, and Promethium based luminous markers where the Tritium phials don't fit.  It has its original red rubber friction ring on the base, which is still soft and rubbery, and has its original mother of pearl card (dial) on a jewelled cap.  Its original leather case is in excellent condition.

This compass comes with its original leather case stamped 1941, the same date as the compass, and bearing the name, written on the leather, W/CDR BATESON - CLICK HERE for the biography of Wing Commander, later Air Vice Marshall Robert Bateson.

The compass comes with a 12 month warranty*.  Its Radium-226 content has been removed and it CAN be sent to the U.S.A.

* Warranty includes faulty parts and workmanship, but does not include damage caused by impact, dropping, crushing or abusive use.
